Chicken Satays




















Ingredients:
chicken breast (about 5 pieces to a breast) or chicken tenders cut in half
wooden skewers (soak in water for a minimum of 30 minutes)
Ingredients for sauce:
1 cup peanut butter
Turmeric (amount is based upon amount of chicken) looking to coat the chicken
1 TBSP of rice vinegar OR juice of 1 lime
1/2 can of coconut milk (add at the end - for tenderizing)
1 TBSP red curry paste (if you want it a little spicy)

Procedure: (If you are making for the first time yourself)
1. soak wood skewers in water (20min. to prevent burning)
2. make sauce, set aside
3. cut chicken into long slivers (about 1/4 thick)
4. slather sauce all over the chicken
5. let the chicken marinate in sauce (over night is best)
6. best if cooked on grill. 2nd option- broil in oven
cook about 6-8 minutes, then flip to the other side
7. best when edges are a tiny bit burnt
